We are an award winning Commercial, Industrial and Residential Roofing Contractor based out of Dayton, Texas. We work with Federal Clients nationwide with a main base out of Texas and Louisiana. Our company has been a Roofing leader of the last 15 years and we are looking to expand our growing team with a highly skilled Roofing Superintendent!

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Roofing Superintendent specializing in Structural Steel to oversee roofing projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing field operations and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
Coordinate and supervise field operations, including labor management and subcontractor oversight
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and change orders
Assist in the training and development of crew members and subcontractors
Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders
Manage resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize costs

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in roofing and structural steel projects
Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to travel frequently to various job sites
Experience with commercial roofing, industrial structures, and federal projects is a plus
Familiarity with steel erection and welding procedures is desirable
Certifications such as CQCM or QCM are preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is a plus
