Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our automation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with conveyor systems and PLC programming, as well as a strong understanding of HMI design and development. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of control systems into our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for automation projects
Program and troubleshoot PLCs to optimize performance
Develop and implement HMI interfaces for operator interaction
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems with machinery
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality
Provide technical support and training to staff on control systems
Maintain documentation for control systems, including design specifications and user manuals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field, preferred
Proven experience in controls engineering and automation
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
Experience with HMI design and development
Familiarity with conveyor systems and their control requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
